We at Cameo Kitchens, Inc. are convinced
that for America to remain strong,
Through our partnership with this program, we help needy children and families by donating on a monthly basis and helping to plan outings for the children and their mentors.
Cameo Kitchens a proud to partner of FFCAS, an organization that supports the Fairfax County Animal Shelter. We support FFCAS in many ways, such as by sponsoring 4 pets a month through their Shelter Pet Sponsorship Program, sponsoring events, and making donations.
Cameo Kitchens has donated to Poplar Springs, a 400 acre non-profit refuge for farm animals and wildlife located in Poolesville, Maryland.
Cameo Kitchens has given at least $1,000.00 to St. Jude's Childrens' Research Hospital each year since we opened in 1986. We are committed to continuing to give St. Jude's $1,000.00 each year.
From 2005-2014, our company gave support to 8 needy families through the D.C. Child and Family Services Agency. We provided a grocery store gift card to each family every month to help with daily expenses.
The District of Columbia Child and Family Services Agency provides important services to promote the safety and well-being of children and families. The agency coordinates public and private partnerships to preserve families through foster care, adoption, and child welfare services, and to protect children against abuse or neglect.
"The families are all very excited about this most generous offer. Cameo Kitchens is the first donor to make this kind of monthly commitment to families in need. I am thrilled to be able to facilitate this kind of service. You already sponsored a family for the holidays, and now you are taking on several families on an ongoing basis. Please accept my sincere thanks." - Nyjeri W., The Office of Volunteer Services, CFSA
"I wanted to
take this opportunity to thank you on behalf of the women and children who have
benefitted from your generosity. I am a Social Worker assigned to the Family
Treatment Court Program. This program provides services to women and children
undergoing substance abuse treatment. This program is unique in that the
children are placed with their mothers in the treatment facility. The women and
children are returned to the community after 6 months of intensive inpatient
treatment. I continue to provide case management services and support to
the women upon their return to the community. The women's return to the
home is sometimes delayed as we work to ensure that there is an adequate food
supply in the home. Your vouchers have helped to ensure that there is food in the
home." - Rahma M., Social Worker Family Treatment Court Program
